The evening dusk along the bay conveys a sense of mystery and awe as I walked along the beach of Aspendale. The soft haze of the sky and the contrast of the blue sea was so inspiring to paint. The lines caress the horizon and create a sense of rhythm and softness in contrast to the textural background of the work. This painting was a finalist in a group show of the Biennale of Abstract Victorian artists at Westend Artspace in 2020. It is oil on Linen and framed in WHITE oak.
